Purpose

In the Fantasies process, you connected to your deepest desires, whether or not they were actually realistic to achieve. Now let’s follow a process that can guide you to delineate a realistic (or probably realistic) vision for your future, which is inspired by your fantasies and passions.

Instructions

• The instructions are similar to those in the Fantasies process, but now you should focus on parts or aspects of the fantasies that seem realistic for you to achieve in a certain period of time that you choose (it can be 3 months, one year, ten years, etc.). Provide as much detail as you can on what you see.
• Now try to envision a favorable path that can lead you from where you are to where you want to be. Don’t focus on specific details but on the general experience.
  • E.g. if you want to build a business, focus on those parts of the path that may lead you there that are most exciting for you. This can help you figure out what you don’t want and what you do want.
• Some people find it inspiring and motivating to create a Vision Board. It is a collage of images and affirmations that describe your vision. You can place it in a noticeable place to be reminded of your vision and direct yourself towards it.
